Here is my timeline

1. Applied for Tier 1 E extension on 14 Aug 2017
2. Complex letter issued on 25th Aug 2017
3. Interviewed in my office space 2 Aug 2018
4. I was able to complete 5 years while waiting for my extension on 26th Mar 2019. Therefore, I converted my application form extension to ILR on 27th Mar 2019.
5. Got my complete IHS refunded back related to my extension application in May 2019.
6. Got ILR on 2nd Sept 2019.

Under this scenario, I am obliged to receive my T1E extension fee back too which will likely to happen in coming months.

Thanks, everyone for their help. I got really good and timely suggestions/advice through this platform during all this time of stress.
