Need an urgent help

i put my date of birth 14 Aug 1994 instead of 24 Aug 1994 on my visa application form, and it was only typing mistake . i called the ukvi few days ago to know how to correct it , then they answered that i should either delete my application and start new one, or to wait the decision then to appeal if my visa application is rejected .

in my case, starting a new application it may be a bit hard as there is no visa application center in my country and i should go to Lebanon. However, in the visa application center they told me that a decision will be made in 2 weeks , today is the 17th day since i provided my biometrics and still without decision.

if such mistake could lead to doubtless visa refusal, waiting the decision is not a good idea because my course starts in 15 days.
if the rejection is not certain, how long does it take to make a decision on my application?

No one can really answer how long a specific application may take. You can through this forum and see a timeline posted by other applicants but honestly it doesn't tell you anything about how long your application would take.

At this stage, you have just to wait and see.
