I start applying for UK Tier 4 student. I have nothing wrong with my documents and all that.
What I do have an issue with is I just came back from the U.S. I was a student on F1 VISA, I stayed there for more than a year and a half, Unfortunately, the US counselor send me an email at the beginning of this year 2019 that my visa got revoked. i was not deported or asked to leave ( they say i can get back to my country and apply for new visa) and i could have stayed in the US until I Finish my studies. but I got an opportunity to continue my master in the UK, also i have to go back to my country because my passport needs a renew. the email of the revoked visa had not state why the visa was revoked but I believe the main reason because i had (D.U.I) while i was in the u.s. should i mention that in my application or that will lead to rejection by them? and dose that consider a crime? also, there is a question about the immigration history but there is no option to say that i have ever got my visa revoked

the question is as below

what the best answer to this question?

You need to come clear with what happened in the US and put the right words on it. The F1 visa would have no point if even when revoked, you can continue your studies as if nothing happened. When this visa is revoked, you are either deported or required to leave the country.

Some people didn't know that their visa was revoked and continued studying in good faith until they traveled abroad and were unable to go back to the US.

If your visa was revoked, surely that means you were required to leave? I would say Yes.

Yes, the application asks about such matters.

No i was not required to leave and I could have stayed and finished my studies but i chose to go back

It still doesn't make sense to me that a visa being revoked has no impact on whether you can stay in the country. I am not sure you are giving the full story.

I would recommend withholding the information. I advise saying yes to "Required to leave", but if that wasn't the case you can add the information in the free text field at the end instead.

When you apply for a Tier 4 visa, you are going to give them your passport. When they go through the pages, they will see that you have a US student visa still within its validity date. The obvious question would be then why aren't you studying in the US? They will make inquiries and discover that the visa was revoked.

That's why it's important to come clean with that and make sure you let them know about it. Because if they discover it on their own, that can be much worse for you.
