Tier 2 Defendant Visa

Post by spgite » Mon Sep 09, 2019 6:24 pm

Hello,

I have applied for Tier 2 General Visa as a main applicant and my wife as dependant. In both of our application, we have mentioned that we will be travelling together ( i.e. both the applications are submmited together)

Now the issue is, my wife needs to stay in India for 3-4 months and can not travel with me to the UK. She will be joining me for sure but after 3-4 months. Is this fine? Will there be any issues ?
Since visa duration is for 3 years, we will be getting BRP. Can I collect her BRP ? Or will it be returned back to Home Office and she has to collect it whenever she moves to the UK.

Thank you in advance for your help

No you cannot collect her brp. She has to go with her passport and the entry stamp on the 30 day visa vignette.
