Accommodation for visa landlord letter

Post by Gingram » Mon Sep 09, 2019 3:33 pm

I am in the process of starting my application for my husband to come from Pakistan. I am trying to rent a house for the accommodation but finding a house with both our names on is proving difficult. Do I need a letter from the landlord stating my husband can stay once he is allowed in the UK? As I asked the letting agents and they have said I will not be able to get his name on anything as he is not here and does not have a job. How did everyone else do this with renting accommodation for the visa? Did you get a letter or just sent tenancy agreement in just your name
Thank you

Simply sign the tenancy agreement in your name only and take the noc letter from the estate agent/landlord.
