Date of application: 08/02/2019
Date Biometrics enrolled: 15/02/2019 UKVCAS new service appointment
Date on Approval letter: waiting :shock:

when the application was over 5 months i sent an email for an update only get the one most of us getting: (All applications are dealt with in application receipt date order. As you application was received on 8th February 19, It will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker.)
and few days after got a letter explaining that the checking process is not yet completed.

after 6 months asked again for an update and the reply was they can not add anything further from the last letter.

Today I've received an email from my caseworker (I didn't know I had been assigned to one) with the Our reference number(Not the UKVI reference number I received when I sent off my application) asking me to confirm which council I want to have my ceremony. Now I'm wondering if this means the caseworker has made a decision or if it means they've just started to consider my application now.

I can't imagine how it must feel for you and all other members waiting such a long time with no updates. Do you have any immigration red flags?

I hope your decision letter (a positive one) is about to go out. By the way, do you mind sharing your timeline? Thanks

Looks all decided for you my partner received email as well that application has been concluded but no reference number was mentioned at all , it was directly from case officer

The contributions in this forum have been immensely helpful. I remained
silent all the while as I did not have any additional information to
contribute but as I have recently received confirmation that my Invaluable
“Brown Envelope” is en-route, I thought to share my experience; perhaps it
may be helpful to one or two others still expecting theirs- please remain
positive in this process and it will certainly come.

So I submitted PR application in mid June 2019 and biometrics three weeks
later in July 2019. Same as most, I started getting anxious and having
closely followed the "Naturalisation Application Timelines Only”, “May 2019
Timelines Only” and “June 2019 Timelines Only” threads and this one that
suggested to me that more of those who applied in May 2019 were receiving
their Invaluable Brown Envelopes, I decided to contact HO (email address
seen in previous posts) 9weeks after application (6weeks after biometrics),
requesting for an update on the status of my application (I quoted all
relevant reference numbers and provided all details). Three days later, I
got the typical response most others received:
=======
Dear xxxxxxxxx

Thank you for your email,

I can only comment that your application is ongoing in the application
process. As you may be aware, our service standard is that we will
complete 100% of workable and straightforward cases within six months from
the date the application is received in the Home Office. The definition of
a workable case, and what we expect from our customers, is available on our
website at:
www.gov.uk/government/organisations/uk- ... r-services.

Where further information is required, the case will not be classed as
workable, and may take longer to decide.

y yyyyy
=====

I followed up with another status update enquiry email three weeks after
response (12weeks after application, 9weeks after biometrics) having seen
on the thread that more June 2019 applicants appeared to be receiving their
Invaluable Brown Envelopes. I got a response after 1 week (13weeks after
application, 10weeks after biometrics):
======
Dear xxxxxxxxx

Thank you for the email,

The application has had a decision made on it and it was sent out on the x
September, this may take up to 21 working days to arrive. If it has not
arrived by then please contact us.

y yyyyy
======

So by my projections and according to y yyyyy's last email, Invaluable
Brown Envelope sent 12weeks after application, 9weeks after biometrics. I
replied, thanking y yyyyy.

It’s now day 2 since y yyyyy’s email, no Invaluable Brown Envelope: I am
positive it will come but again patience (or lack of it) got me and I
called my council to check if they had my details. Council confirmed yes
they did but strictly No brown envelope equals No booking of ceremony. So
I’m being hopeful the Invaluable Brown Envelope shows up soon. I will be
closely watching door post via CCTV tomorrow remotely from the
office…touch wood.

Question: Can I still access UKVCAS site? Yes; I can still see all data as
before; no changes/error note.

Question: Can I still access .GOV.UK application site? Yes; I can but it
now shows up with error note below; to be honest I have not been faithfully
checking this site so I am unable to tie onset of message with any of my
timelines- sorry folks :_(

The right to work website is irrelevant to Naturalisation applications.

Apologies CR001, I was just trying to answer the question. But with hindsight, I agree the question was not for this thread...sorry.

I have logged into my application everyday since i submitted on the 10th of August for Experimental purposes :wink: . I don't think the Error message in red "We are currently experiencing issues with our downloadable document checklist." means anything. I have noticed these on some days in the last week and not on others, although today is only the second consecutive day I have noticed it. Still waiting..

=======

=====

======
Dear xxxxxxxxx

Thank you for the email,

The application has had a decision made on it and it was sent out on the x
September, this may take up to 21 working days to arrive. If it has not
arrived by then please contact us.

y yyyyy
======

We are currently experiencing issues with our downloadable document
checklist.

This feature has been temporarily disabled and we are working as quickly as
possible to fix the problem. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

IF this affects you and you are not able to download your checklist, you
should download a copy of your application form below and go to the
documents section.

You should also bring a copy of this to your “documents and biometrics”
appointment.

None of your information will be lost and your application will not be
rejected.

Will let you all know once I get my IBE.
So got Invaluable Brown Envelope at 12:30pm today- magic! (13weeks after application, 10weeks after biometrics, 8days after date on approval letter); dashed home and successfully got ceremony organised for next week.
Sincere best wishes to all still in the process, hopefully very soon you will also experience this deeply satisfying sense of relief! whew!!

Congrats!! I’m glad that you have finally got the good news. Mine has been 9 weeks now from biometrics and I am thinking asking for an update. Please kindly share the email address for home office with me. Thank you.

You cannot track. You have to wait to hear back from HO.

I had applied online on 28th May and enrolled my biometrics on the 1st of June. Since mid August, I used to send an email every 2 weeks to NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gov.uk requesting an update on the progress of my application and in a few days, I'd get the usual set of responses.

This Monday, as usual, I sent them an email requesting for an update and I didn't hear back from them till yesterday afternoon when I got this directly from the case worker's email:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Mr XXXXX

I can confirm that your application for Naturalisation has been granted.

Kind regards,

YYYYYY
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Happy days! Can't wait to get the official approval letter and kick off the process for the passport after the ceremony.

I'd like to thank every one on this forum for sharing their experience and valuable advice as it really does help when you are anxiously either applying or awaiting the results of your application.

Good luck and I sincerely hope you get a positive decision soon.
