Indefinite Leave To Remain with criminal conviction

Post by saber1973 » Mon Sep 16, 2019 10:09 pm

Hi every one .I have a question regarding my case and i will be very grateful if anyone try to help with this matter .
I was living in the UK illegally and got cut by the police with false passport while leaving the UK and sentenced in December 2007 with 18 months but only spent 8 months due to removal scheme was that time . I signed for deportation order and sent home .I applied for spouse visa in 2010 and then my application was refused many times, till 2013 when the home office decided to issue my visa on human rights grounds because my daughter needs her dad and she had some health problems.

I came to the uk on spouse visa of 2 years and 3 months in 07/05/2013 .But the second and the third visa only been granted 2 years in each one.

my question is why there is a difference in the visa length ?
when can I apply for ILR under the old rules ?

thank you

Your ILR will be refused unless 15 years have passed since the end of your sentence period.
