I wonder if you can help me with this issue : I am a Mauritian Citizen and I am married to a British citizen for over 5 years. We applied for a spouse visa in June 2018 and this was refused 3 months later due to my wife lateness in sending her payslips. She produced them after the decision of the ECO.
My sister kindly paid for a paper appeal and this took place in June 2019 which was allowed by the First Tier tribunal. The Home Office refunded my sister the money after the initial waiting time. Then last month I received an email from the British High commission in Pretoria requesting me to send my passport.
At the time of the appeal process: All my original documents were sent to the court of appeal as she didn't have enough time to photocopy them all to send to the court. My wife has requested the court to send her back all my original documents back to her but until now the court is saying that they have sent the originals back to her but so far she has not received any original documents. That was 2 months ago.
One minute they said they have sent it to my wife and another time they have sent it to the ECO in South Africa but neither of them have a clue of where are my original documents. My passport as well is in the bundle.
In the meantime I have requested another passport from my country and I have sent the ECO in South Africa the new passport which they have acknowledged last week receiving.
I am now wondering how long it will take to get the visa processed by the British High commission in Pretoria South Africa and if I'm ever going to see any of my original documents
