Hey everyone, in the next couple of days I will be submitting my naturalisation application. I have completed the online process and I am currently at the point where it asks for all the documents needed for the application.
I am kinda stuck on this document "most recent tax year account statement and corresponding HMRC tax return as proof of self-employment". The thing is my limited company was dissolved in June this year. I have since been working as self employed. I am not sure what document I will need to provide in my case though? A confirmation statement was filed in February and there was no Corporation Tax owed to the HMRC as the company didn't make any profit for 2018-2019. The only document I can think off would be sufficient is my self assessment that I filed not so long ago. Can someone please advise me what document I need to produce for my application?

If I understand correctly from your previous postings you are a non-EU citizen so for residency purposes your passport(s) with stamps in/out covering the residency period should be sufficient. You don't have to show any level of profits or earnings. EU citizens applying don't have stamps in their passports und therefore employment or other official documentation is provided.

It does say "proof of self-employment" though because I have put in my application that I am self-employment.

ok, missed that bit - from the AN guidance:
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... ooklet.pdf
Self-employed applicants
If you do not pay tax through Pay As You Earn (PAYE) arrangements, we require the
most recent HM Revenue & Customs Self-Assessment Statement of Account.
So provide the recent self-assessment you submitted.

Hey everyone, I have just submitted my application via the online system and have uploaded documents that I believe would be sufficient for my application but I need to go through them just in case I have missed out anything.
I was granted my ILR last year in September which followed from Tier 1 (entrepreneur) category. I have now completed my 12 months, so I hope the documents attached are all sufficient.
1. The passport issued by India for xxxxxx
All the pages on my current and previous passport were uploaded
2. Proof of living in the UK for xxxx
As I am not an EU-citizen, I believe the stamps from both my current and previous passport would suffice for the proof of living in the UK? Or do I need to attach something else?
3. xxxx's proof of freedom from immigration time restrictions
I believe uploading my Biometric Residence Permit would be enough for this? Or should I include the grant letter from Home Office too?
4. The degree certificate for xxxx to prove the level of English language required
I have attached my Degree Certificate and also Life in the UK test result from 2017
5. Two referee declarations for xxxx
I have added the 2 referee declaration one from a friend and another from my accountant
6. xxxx's evidence of identity
I take it my passport and BRP will be enough for this?
7. xxxx's most recent tax year account statement and corresponding HMRC tax return as proof of self-employment
I was running a limited company which unfortunately had to be dissolved due to my business banking partners withdrawing their services. I was under the PAYE of my on company up until Oct 2018 and then just withdrew money from my company that the company owed me up until Feb 2019 when I filed for dissolution. The company was finally dissolved in June and since then my status has been changed to self employed. For this requirement, I have included my Tax return documents from the period 2018-19 and my P45. Will this be enough?
8. Current Biometric Residence Permit for xxxx
BRP is uploaded
would really appreciate if someone could highlight anything in my application that is missing so I can get it organised and uploaded before 8th of October. Thanks
