spouse settlement visa waiting game!!!!! help meee

Hello beautiful people, Am new in this forum, I need help urgently I don't know what to do. I applied for a spouse visa, ( standard application ) country: Algeria. my bio was on 28th May 2019, my husband made a call to HO and they told him that a decision has been made on 14 August, they sent me my documents back on 15 August it was 57 working days. and then nothing! Am still waiting to collect my passport. on 23rd September my husband called HO to escalate as a decision was made long ago, she told him you will get an answer within 15 days or less. Am really worried about it, We submitted all the documents and that, our application is straightforward so why are they taking so long to send my passport? I went to TLS and they told me we don't know anything! actually Am not the only one, some people are on 110 wd and more, but they still didn't get decision made. my husband doesn't want to contact MP because someone from Immigration told him that it guna make problems for her second visa. what do you suggest me to do? I wait or I email HO alone without telling to my husband lol

There is nothing to fear by contacting the MP.

I contacted an MP for a family member and it issue was sorted within a week. Then, next visa pas positive.

The Home Office aren't going to remember that you contacted the MP and make you pay for it at a later time.

This is a silly question really, but have you checked your email’s inbox? Sometimes, HO sends the decision letter by email. When I got a decision, I was desperate because I got the documents back but not an enclosed letter, and I thought I wasn’t contacted yet. However when I was checking my emails, there it was.

In that case, I suggest you to do what Zerubbabel has recommended: contacting your MP and explain your situation. If worse comes to worst, you will have to wait until hearing back from Home Office.
