My brother and his families visa got rejected. They were visiting me in UK and their reasons are absolutely crap.

So i want to pursue this as i think the decision is unfair.

It would be helpful if you could share your process and how to sent get the pre action protocol going?

The reason for rejection was due to a transaction in his bank statement that took place 7 months ago. He paid in 3.7m in cash in his bank. They said your account balance was boosted by this.
Although they ignored the fact that he declared 8m rupees as cash in hand in his last tax return. So he has just used that money to put in the bank. he declared all his business earnings and all properties.
Even showed family ties in pakistan.

they completely ignore the fact that Pakistan is very much a cash based economy.

To be honest, he wrote 4 paragraphs. In 3 paragraphs, he talked about how everything was okay and how is satisfied with the sponsor, etc etc and then he wrote this crap line at the end.

He was just looking for a reason to reject and he used that.

I feel like thats the trend for applications made from asia. The Abu dhabi just looks for a reason to reject rather than looking at the application on its merits.

you know it's fifteen day's passed after issued email but still not received any phone call from vfs global Islamabad regarding my nephew passport
Today I contacted MP and answer following
 




Dear Mr ××××××

 

Thank you for your e-mail. On your behalf, I have contacted the Home Office this morning and received the following advice.

 

Your nephew's passport and visa are with the Visa Application Centre and should now be ready for issue. Your nephew should be contacted within the next day.  UKVI's officer was not able to explain why the two applications have been handled separately.

 

I hope that this information is of assistance. Please let me know if I can be of any further help.

My story is very long in brief we have had first application on February for my mother and nephew. The applications had been refused .
At that time we was very high chance to go Judicial review because there was error in decisions for example the ECO that about my nephew you have immediate family members in UK but this was not case the ukvi itself explain the immediate family members as they were grandparents. grand children father mother children partner but uncle aren't immediate family members although have family
Then we have decided fresh application in April and unfortunately again unsuccessful and ECO this time put lots of reasons on bank statements and applicants family ties to Pakistan source of income and also some transactions in Pakistan bank statement.
In May I sent them pre action protocol letter to ukvi and they replied in June we will reconsider your applications. In August ECO again requested bank statements and family ties to Pakistan. I have provided then ECO sent call letter email in August

Applied for 6 month normal visa on 18th Sept. The time period for decision is 15 working days for normal visa. However, i got the following email today (after 5 working days)

You will be contacted by the Visa Application Centre when your documents are ready for collection, or have been dispatched via courier where this is relevant.

I got an email from UK Visa that my UK visit visa have been concluded and will be dispatched shortly.
I received my documents on the 24th September, 2019 but was refused.
I submitted the evidence of the payments l made in the UK for the short courses l booked to attend.
I stated that I will be spending £2100 for my 27days trip and this included my returned flight tickets.
I am from Nigeria but work in one of the Africa countries my salary is paid in either in USD, EURO or GBP.
After which, l exchange to naira for daily living expenses.
I saved £1300, $2400, €800 in the individual accounts and l had 150,000naira{£331} in my naira account for daily expenses in Nigeria.
In approximately, l have a vefiable £3400 in my accounts.
I submitted and uploaded all the account statements in Euro, dollars, pounds and naira.
To my greatest shock, l got a refusal letter that l claimed to spend £2100 during my trip but l presented an account statement of 150,000naira(£331) and based on this, my UK visit visa have been refused due to insufficient funds for my trip.
It was also stated that l have no right to appeal or administrative review.
I think there was an error in judging my application because l have more than enough for trip.
Does it mean that my other account statements were overlooked? It's painful.
I need an advice.
My courses will be starting in less than two weeks time and the fees are non refundable.

25/09 went down to VFS to do my biometrics (had to pay extra for walk-in after booking online)
26/09 received a message saying it’s been sent to UKVI
29/08 received an email saying “visa application issued”
Received a text saying it’s ready for collection
Received a text saying it’s been dispatched

Not sure if I’ll be receiving it tomorrow already?

Honestly.... the suspense! This thread has Been “selling me dreams” that it will be a positive result since I received an “issued” email but still quite on edge as I didn’t provide bank statements and just provided my sponsor’s with a letter. Ugh. Will update x

Hi All,

I think it appears everyone is still asking questions on issued/concluded emails.

I have had a recent a experience with two of my family members.

My Brother and his family applied for UK visit visa (6 months) from Lahore, Pakistan in JULY 2019 and he got a concluded email.
His visa and his families visa was rejected and he also got refusal letter through email before he collected his passports.

My Parents applied for UK visit visa (2 years) from Chicago, USA in September and they got a concluded email too. Exact words:
" Your UK visa application has been concluded by Visits UK and will shortly be dispatched."
No other email was received.
Yesterday they received their passports with two years visa stamped.

So the conclusion email highly depends on the location you have applied from.
Looking at this forum, it appears all Abu Dhabi applications - Concluded means rejected and issued is self explanatory i.e. you got the visa!

But its not true for other locations.
I think someone already mentioned this earlier in the forum.

So i found this link on the UK gov website which shows the location of your caseworker.

So my brother's application was decided in Abu Dhabi and my parents application was decided in Croydon.

Honestly speaking based on my experience getting a "VISA CONCLUDED" mail from the UKVI centre does not mean you have been refused, because I had the same mail yet still I received my passport with my Visa relaxing in it...
I don't know how it is in every country but from my country if you're refused a UK Visa you'll be sent a refusal letter via email so before your passport even arrives you'll know your fate.
If you receive a mail regardless of it's heading without a refusal letter then the chances of been granted the visa is a . The concluded phrase doesn't matter at all...
