my name is kumar i am planing to apply for HSMP(tier 1) from australia as student . i am really in confusion about pound sterling calculation. i am palning to show 4,50,000
indian currency for 12 months period as salary from march 2006 to march 2007. i try to calcualte points using site:http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/pointscalculator
but i am in confusion how to convert to calculate points

There's no HSMP (Tier 1), it is Tier 1 (General)!

Read Tier 1 policy guidance *carefully* to understand the rules of the scheme, before you jump to using the points-based calculator. This way you'll minimize your chances of getting confused!
