Tier 2 to ILR applying with dependent

Hi All,

I am on Tier 2(gen) visa and will soon complete my five years in the UK. Although my ILR is still a few months away, I am just planning ahead. I have been here with my wife, who arrived 3 months after I initially arrived in the UK.
My Tier 2 Visa started Mar 2015, So I should be eligible for ILR in Mar 2020
My wife's Tier-2 dependent visa started June 2015 (that's when she joined me in the UK) and should be eligible for ILR in June 2020.

So my question is, should I apply together with her for ILR, we still have Tier 2 valid until March 2021. I just wanted to be sure that if I apply early there is no disadvantage to her in applying 3 months later and also that I will have to use all the same documents again.

She cannot apply for ILR early. She can apply no sooner than within 28 days before her initial visa issue date, ie whatever it is in June 2020 minus 28 days.

If she applies too early, it will likely be refused and you will lose the fee.

She can apply after you, no issue.
