Hi Guys I got my application completed over 3weeks ago. No letter yet. I emailed the office and answered me that my application is not completed and that I have to wait for my registered letter. Anyone went through this? It's very hard situation..
They do that. Dont worry you will get it soon.
Anyways Guys, did anyone get the IRP card? Does it says 4s or just 4?
Please advice?

It says stamp 4S.
Can I ask if anyone who got with the scheme is a medical doctor/student?

Yes. Stamp 4S is considered "reckonable residence" in Ireland for the purposes of naturalisation. This program provides a path to Irish citizenship. It will take 5 years in most cases.

Hi there.
I am waiting on my decision as well. Portal still stuck on submitted. Till 6th of sep there were 2364 cases completed so far as per the question asked in parlimant as you can see below for the reference. I suppose there should be 400 to 500 left approx. to dealt with. I hope we will get sorted soon.

Basically most cases are complete. This scheme had near 100% success rate. All people who qualified for the scheme received positive reply. I don't know anyone who met the criteria and got refused. They were quite lenient in many cases. Of course many others applied as well and it will affect overall approved numbers.

Short answer: No. No. No. There is no basis of skipping a queue without a valid reason.
Long answer: You cannot get an emergency appointment if you do not have an emergency. Emergency appointments must be requested by yourself so no paid system either. If you do have a genuine and valid reason, you can obtain an emergency appointment by emailing the Burgh Quay email address (normally given within a few days), or by walking in (for same-day appointments).

Nonsense. When I went to Burgh Quay to ask about my letter, they offered me appointment next week without me asking for it. They gave me a slip with the time and date on it. They encourage people to acquire valid status as soon as possible.

It all depends on how busy it is and the mood of the receptionist I’d say. My girlfriend had a genuine emergency in September 2 years ago and was at risk losing her residency due to an immigration officer’s error, and it still took her a whole hour’s arguing with them and talking to their supervisor before the supervisor gave her a ticket. The supervisor eventually apologised to us and told us that too many people have been trying to make up excuses for having emergencies.

For my friend, portal "Completed" on Friday 10/11/19 and Registered Letter with Stamp 4S Visa received today 15/10/2019. Applied 24/10/2018, so almost a full year, and no additional info requested. I suspect we were are one of the final applications in this tranche. But if you are still waiting, hang in there! Thanks to all for the updates along the way, and for everyone sticking together.

Can someone please confirm if the text of the stamp 4S in the passpor is exactly the same as for the stamp 4?
I am talking about the black stamp that goes in the passport when you apply for GNIB. It usually states the conditions of your stamp.
I would appreciate clarification.

Good news here today, sent a review appeal on 6th September and got positive response today.
I was able to proof that my 12 days out of state was for holidays and sent all pay slips and hotel bookings for the period.
Happy now.
Good luck to all that still waiting their response

Hi lynx I’m not sure I don’t know anyone with a stamp 4 I tried looking online but I’d say they’re the exact same thing? (Or hope they are anyway)

Thank you for your reply. As it is a new type of visa, I just want to make sure it is recognised by various organizations as a permission to work without the need for work permit. If the text is same as stamp 4 it would make things easier in my opinion.

Hi guys, just a quick question.
For those that have applied for family members , do you have received separate letters for the family or just one letter for the main applicant.
Thanks
