Tier 2 visa query

Hi
I had a tier 2 visa and brp and I have applied for a second job tier 2 switch within the Uk.Due to family emergency I had to travel to India. I tried to cancel my recent application before traveling but unfortunately they said the visa has already been processed.
I want to know whether my old brp will it be invalid now even though the expiry date is next year as they said they will be issuing the new Brp?Can old brp be made valid again if I want to continue with the old employer?
If not how do I collect the new BRP from outside the country.
