name change on naturalisation certificate

Post by Natali » Sat Oct 05, 2019 7:40 pm

Hi.
I received my naturalisation certificate and a british passport in 2018. Unfortunately dual citizenship is not permitted in Slovakia so I lost my Slovak citizenship. This september I became a hungarian citizen and with that I changed my surname. As I want to use the same surname in UK I contacted UK Deed Poll Office to change my surname. How can I change my surname on my naturalisation certificate as I want to notify banks, DVLA, tax office, council about the nationality and name change at the same time as I'm stil registered with them as Slovak national ?

Thanks for any info/guidance
Natalia

You can't. You can only change your British passport.
as I want to notify banks, DVLA, tax office, council about the nationality and name change at the same time as I'm stil registered with them as Slovak national ?
Change your British passport and then notify them.
Char (CR001 not Casa)
