Wife's FLR(M) application-query regarding employer letter

Post by scher » Mon Oct 07, 2019 10:30 am

Hi Guys,
I would like to inform you that I have recently received ILR and now going through wife's flr(m) application.I am showing my employment for financial requirements for my wife's flr(m) visa. I have got my employment letter from HR which is dated on 7/08/2019..I have used this letter for my ILR visa application.

Can i use the same letter as HR on annual leave and our Bio metric appointment is on 12/10/2019. I have payslips from last 6 months[ie 6 pay slips from sep 2019 to feb 2019]..please advice on this..

Thanks and Regards,
scher

You need a letter from HR that is not older than 28 days on the date of online application.

Long residence ILR did NOT require a letter and it was likely disregarded.

Hi CR001,
Thanking you for your quick reply, HR will be back from 14/10/2019 but my wife's biometric appointment is on 12/10/2019 so the best option is to postpone the Biometric date. We have paid 100 pounds for Biometric slot on Saturday as there are no free ones available for next 2 to 3 weeks or so..
Can I postpone the appointment for one week if so do they charge me extra money for doing this..please advise on this..
Thanks and REgards,
scher.

Note that supporting documentation must be dated within 28 days of the ONLINE submission, which is the application date. You don't state what date you have submitted the application online. Your biometrics appointment date is irrelevant.

Can no one else sign the letter?

Hi CR001,
I would like to inform you that we have submitted her application on 5/10/2019. Also would like to inform you that HR had prepared letter behalf of her name so it would not be ideal to ask my manager to sign that letter..
I came to know that she will be back on coming wednesday 9/10/2019, she will work just on that day and then she will be off again till Monday 14/10/2019. I will try my best to get employer letter from her on that day if possible..In worst case scenario, I need to postpone my wife's bio metric appointment which is on saturday 12/10/2019..
so can I postpone appointment for free of cost as we have already paid for this current appointment. Also can I upload old document for now and finish bio metrics as scheduled on Saturday 12/10/2019 and then once her bio metrics done then after couple of days can I be able to upload new document..is it ok do..

please clarify on above queries..
Thanks and Regards,
scher

Employer letter must have been prepared until the date of application which in your case is 05th October. Many members still got success even the letter dated after the date of application which is risky. Employer letter can be issued by your line manager or accounts officer/manager in the absence of HR.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
