Tier 2 General PBS Dependent- Query

Post by SKJ1984 » Mon Oct 07, 2019 4:19 pm

Hi Members,

Background:
I am in Tier 2 ICT (Valid till 2020 Jan) - Will be travelling back to India in November.
My Wife is Tier 2 General (Aug 2019-Aug 2022) - Working in UK
My kids as Tier 2 ICT dependent. (Valid till 2020 Jan) - Already in India

Me and My kids want to switch as tier 2 General dependents of my wife as I have resigned from my current organisation and serving notice.

Queries:

1. Can I and kids apply for dependent visa from India in month of November? Or is it mandatory to apply from UK.

2. Do I need 3/6 months payslips of my wife. I can provide only 2 months?

3. I have more than sufficient balance in my account to cover me and my kids in my UK account maintained for more than 90 days? Should I still require letter from my wife's employer. I can get a general reference letter stating she is an employee of the organisation which sponsored her and still she continues to work there.

4. To apply for a new visa while my existing visa is active, Do I need a no objection certificate from my current employer? - Or will Resignation / Separation letter Suffice? Or is it mandatory at first place.

5. Should my wife BRP, Passport copies be self attested? or will just soft copy suffice? I have read threads which suggest to notarize these documents.

6. I have tenancy agreement and utility bills. Do you think a no objection certificate from Landlord is required for kids accommodation?

You can apply in India. Not sure why you believe you are restricted to applying only within the UK.
2. Do I need 3/6 months payslips of my wife. I can provide only 2 months?
You need 90 days maintenance funds. Not payslips.
3. I have more than sufficient balance in my account to cover me and my kids in my UK account maintained for more than 90 days? Should I still require letter from my wife's employer. I can get a general reference letter stating she is an employee of the organisation which sponsored her and still she continues to work there.
No. Her employer is NOT your sponsor. She is.
4. To apply for a new visa while my existing visa is active, Do I need a no objection certificate from my current employer? - Or will Resignation / Separation letter Suffice? Or is it mandatory at first place.
No and nothing you need to submit from your employer.
5. Should my wife BRP, Passport copies be self attested? or will just soft copy suffice? I have read threads which suggest to notarize these documents.
Colour scanned copy is sufficient.
6. I have tenancy agreement and utility bills. Do you think a no objection certificate from Landlord is required for kids accommodation?
No.
