Spouse visa extension

My wife's visa is due for renewal on dec 29 this year. She joined me from india after our marriage on sep 2017.When we applied for dependent visa in 2017, my work visa was valid only till 2019 dec 29. So she was issued with a dependent visa valid from sep 2017 till 2019 dec( 2yr, 3mnths and 22 days). I have got my ILR on jan 2019. So when we apply for visa extension is she going to get a visa only for 2.5 years?, if thats the case we will have to extent her visa again for another 3months to get ILR?. Or is there any other way around she can get extension this time, to complete 5 years period?

What category of visa does she hold exactly, spouse settlement visa or PBS dependent (tier 1 or tier 2) visa?

On what basis did you get ilr, 5 years PBS or 10 years long residence??

Note there are different rules for different dependent visa categories so you need to state exactly what she holds if you expect any useful advice.

She hold tier 2 dependent visa. I was on tier 2 general visa when we applied for her dependent visa. Now I have got ILR thorugh 5 year stay on tier 2 general visa
