Dear all,
It will be really appreciated if any useful advice regarding to my current situation could be received.
My situation is that I have had Tier 2 visa and my wife had Tier 2 dependent Visa to enter the UK. I have got my ILR in January 2019, and my wife's Tier 2 dependent Visa will be expired at the end of December 2019. She needs to apply for Visa extension in the early of 2019 December ( 4 weeks before VISa expired).
My question is :
1. Can my wife still apply for Tier 2 dependent extension, if I have already switched from Tier2 to ILR?
Some internet sources suggested it is the best option, because the extension of Tier 2 Dependent will count for 5 years' continued condition for her ILR application. If apply for family visa for ILR, it will restart the 5 years' continued living condition.
2. Can I use job offer letter instead of real employment letter to apply my wife's Visa extension?
I am in the between-job period. My current employer my not issue employment letter, and my next employer may issue it after I officially register as an employee here in Jan 2020.
Many thanks in advance
