FLR application

I am about to complete an application online for FLR, what I wanted to know was does the supporting documents need to be scanned and uploaded online? Also where do I send the original passport and biometric card of mine? Along with my daughters birth certificate as I believe those need to be originals. Can a photo be taken of the documents from my phone and uploaded online. Thanks
