Wrong COS category assignation

Hi ,
I am on a tier 2 dependent visa and currently working for a employer.2 days back my employer have mistakenly assigned the unrestricted COS for my Tier 2 general Visa where as it should be assigned under RCOs shortage occupation code list.

Could you please let me know how this can be changed as the unrestricted COS is not being used and is generated 2 days back.

Can my employer cancel this unrestricted COS and assign a new RCOs for me .

Yes. Note though that they have to submit a request for a cos to ho before the 5th to be included in the monthly allocation meeting later in November.

Thanks for your response. Could you please confirm will their be any impact in my employer license due to assignation of unrestricted Cos where as an RCOS need to be generated.
