Sponsor License Application - Advice needed

Post by hlycc93 » Mon Nov 11, 2019 12:09 pm

Hello,

I am currently on Tier 5 YMS and the company I am working for has submitted application for Sponsor license nearly 2 weeks ago, as well as post of mandatory documents.

My company used to have sponsor license but they did not renew it because the sponsored employee did not need sponsorship anymore (ILR).
However, this time we prepared the application based on their previous experience, and we did not realise that we are also required to submit a covering letter answering questions about our business and CoS. (When doing online application we were told by HO helpline to put '0' to qty of CoS required, as we will apply for Restricted CoS after the license is granted. In this case is it still necessary to provide CoS details such as SOC code, duties and so on?)

In appendix A it was mentioned that if we do not provide information to those questions the application will be rejected - would the HO by any chance ask us to send the information or would the application more likely be rejected right away? Is there anything we can do at the moment instead of just waiting for the decision?

Any advice would help.
Many thanks in advance!
