Post by Susan123 » Wed Oct 23, 2019 7:07 pm

Dear all members

i need help with tier 1 entrepreneur visa. I know that this visa is no longer available but I got it before.

There are some confusion and
misunderstanding.

Could you please any of you who had it and has done all the necessery requirements. i need help with afterwards procedures.

1.could you please tell me what are the things that need to be done after landing in the uk, including timeline ( how much time I have ).

for example

number 1 : you need to do this and you have 20 days to do it.

number 2 : .......... ............

and so on.

2. And finally can any one suggest a good solicitor and an accountant in the uk.
I am looking for someone who has done tier1 1 before and knows what he is doing.

1. Collect your BRP within the time specified
2. Register as Self Employed with HMRC OR as a Director within six months.

Those are the only critical ones.

Read the guidance and make sure you understand what you need for extension.

Recommending solicitors, accountants, etc. is not permitted in this forum.

Thank you very much for your reply. I really appreciate.
I have read the guidnace but to be honest there are afew things that are not clear for me. So i decided to ask people who has done it and can explain to me in a simple language.

Regarding number 2 that you mentioned,
i only have to do one of those? Is that correct?

If i have registered myself with the company house so there is no need to register with HMRC?

And regarding money,
That 200k was in my personal account and still is
Do i need to do anything with this.
I heard i need to open a business account and move the money there.

You do need to eventually invest it into your business
