FLR FP - urgent advice re spouse and child

Post by Aliaqib » Mon Nov 18, 2019 6:39 pm

Hi everyone, I would like some advice please.

Basically I bought my wife over from Pakistan in March 2017 on spouse visa. She come on the new rules and I had to meet the financial requirements.

I was working full time and had a second job as a private hire driver. But I lost my full time job and started doing taxis full time. Her flr is due next week and I totally forgot about it. Thing is I can’t meet the financial requirements now so I’m going on the FLR FP 10 year route.

I’ve got a son who was born here in UK in December 2017.

Now when I’ve come to do the application it says are any dependants applying. Because my son was born here is he considered a dependant of my wife?

I thought it was straight forward and I’d be paying £1033.00 but now I’m a bit confused. Would I be including my son as a dependant? And would that mean I would have to pay the main applicant + 1 dependant fee?

Absolutely mind boggled.

Thanks in advance
