Passport validity for Tier 4 visa

Hi all,

My husband and I are in the UK. I have received a CAS to extend my visa for 11 months from Jan 2020 to Nove 2020.
My husband's passport is due to expire in June 2020.

Can my husband apply for an extension dependent visa or does he need to renew his passport to apply for the full stay on the visa?




Thank you.
P.S. The Indian passport office in the UK is very slow in processing a new passport.

Yes. He will also need to apply for a new passport when the old one is expiring.
