Sponsoring a spouse visa whilst waiting for a response regarding my Citizenship application

Hi All,

I have had ILR since 2010 and the visa stamp is in my passport. However, my passport is expiring in January 2020(in 2months) . I'm planning on sponsoring my husbands Spouse visa, so I am wondering if it's possible to sponsor his application whilst my citizenship is being processed? Or

1) I should sponsor his application first and apply for my citizenship soon after

2) apply for a Brp but that takes up to 6mnths and I need him ASAP because we just found out we are pregnant and i'm expecting in May but its quite a conplicated pregnancy...

Ur application for citizenship is irrelevant to his application for a spouse visa ie you can do both at the same time.

That's a relief thank you. so does it mean that even if I apply for him a month before my passport expires since my visa is in there- my visa is still valid to support his application? (I hope my question is clear) thanks

Yes. Ur passport validity is irrelevant too.
