Does every1 have the interview? Is it for the job or to check if the marriage is legit

I think ours is to check our marriage is genuine. I’m not sure if my employer has had a call and I don’t know if they will ask me employment questions as this wasn’t covered in the email - the email only suggested relationship questions.

It’s better to prepare employment questions as well, like how’s your work place look like, how far is your work place and how you go there, nature of work and working hours etc

Thank you. I’m not concerned about my job etc because I’ve worked in the public sector for 3+ years and the route etc etc is ingrained in my mind lol. I think I’m more worried about the relationship questions - they can ask so many random ones that they expect a husband/wife to know but on a day to day, you wouldn’t think of it and wouldn’t expect to be questioned on it

Also equally worried about the immigration questions he may be asked as well and that’s what I’m trying to figure out. Even to prepare a little bit for those.

Not all employers or sponsoring spouse is called for an interview. Many get the visas without any phonecalls!!

my fiance visa took 7months and was granted dont lose hope xx

Finally had some contact but for an interview with my husband and I - strange that we’ve received an email for an interview in one weeks time... Normally they call out of the blue rather than book a time? My husbands will be by video call and mine will be by telephone at the same time

My interview will be about our relationship and his will be relationship, immigration and travel history

I’m worried as to the nature of the questions - any advice will be greatly appreciated please

On the vfs website, it states mirpur office is still closed due to structural damage, so would have to go Islamabad. Need to confirm though if that still is the case.
