Did you receive decision mail email b4 tracking or what?
No I didn’t receive anything. I just thought I’d check the online status

Yes it's so frustrating :( I know we just have to wait but it's so upsetting at the same time. But God willing soon.

Can members PLEASE NOT post Timelines in this topic, especially for Pakistan and India, both of which have their OWN TIMELINE ONLY THREADS!!! The more this topic becomes a timeline thread, the quicker it will be locked permanently.

This really doesn't make sense because in the Timeline Thread you say don't do chit chat etc when people do update with the info as above & here you are saying otherwise?! I'm sorry I do not mean to be critical but I find the rules on this Forum way too confusing. I have tried to add a lot of value by being quite open & honest & updating my timeline accordingly for people to view but now this just confuses me more!

It was someone who posted ONLY a timeline update, in the same format as the timeline only threads. The post was removed. My post refers to those specifically that only post timelines and nothing else!!! Perspective!!!

This topic is already an absolute nightmare to moderate and check and if members want to continue have this to post about 'still waiting.....' then do not turn it into a timeline topic when we already have those specific threads.

Hi, i was wondering if anyone can help me. For those who were contacted by the home office by telephone for an interview, what number was you contacted by? Was it a private call or unknown? I received 2 missed calls today from a 'restricted' number. I was wondering if it was the home office. If so what happens if you miss there call. I am so worried. It has been 9 week for me today since biometrics

Normally home office leave a voicemail.
Nothing to worry if you missed a call from ukvi.
If they need any additional information then they will contact you again through a phone call or email .

It was a private number when I got the call, but as a member has said above , they do leave a voicemail.

Good luck inshallah!

How do you track pls and what are the necessary information do I need to track pls, am worried sick
In order to track your application, you have to log onto gov.uk and it will redirect you to the relevant commercial partner whether its TLS or VFS and then you can track it and check the progress. If you used a lawyer they will do this for you.
Are you on about visa4uk Gov site at that site you can track your application

Hey guys, I'm so worried about the application. Its been 67 working days now and we have still recieved nothing. If it does go over the 3month time does that mean theres some problem with the application? Everyone else I know of has had a response back within 10weeks at the most even with standard. I did contact UKVI a few days ago and they said they will esclate the case. I'm so worried, I have a strong feeling theyre not going to grant my husband his visa as we haven't met in over 1year and a half. Also when I phoned UKVI I was told my husband will recieve an email?

They have no right to refuse you becouse you haven't met him in a long time. The reason you guys havent met is obviously because you are in the uk working hard to bring your husband... don't worry. Also if that was the case they would of contacted you by now to ask you some questions... just have to wait patiently now.

I havent met my wife in over a year but that shouldn't get the Visa refused and it doesn't say how long you didn't meet them for. They only require the financial side and if the marriage is legit so don't worry

Hi thank you,
We got the visa pretty quickly to be honest, a lot quicker than expected. Check the Timeline Thread (Page 61) I have updated it with the full timeline of our Visa Process. I did not use a solicitor or anything & to be honest I was a bit surprised they acted so quickly given some of the issues people face. However, I did have one conversation with the UKVI & they were really apologetic because they had called me in error. Basically we applied via route A & I was called by some incompetent ECO asking me why I did not provide 2nd Income details. Firstly, I earn way above the threshold of what is required, secondly, I have been in the same role for well over 2 years so I was shocked when they asked me about my 2nd Income Details. Because I know my application was genuine, I had a very frank conversation with them saying, I cannot understand why after paying all that money, you as an ECO cannot even determine from my paperwork that there would be no 2nd Income Details, they were very apologetic however, it just shows what a joke of a department they truly are. We did a standard application too. Good luck with the ticket booking. My partners arrives on 1 December 2019 InShaaAllah & then we start having to worry about the Visa Application for 2.5 years from now... never ends eh!

Yes that is right, they do call on Private. They called me first time & did not leave a voicemail, then called me the second time & did leave a voicemail (a pretty pathetic one at that too) & then on the third call I stayed by the phone all day & spoke with them. It is a pain in the rear end & they're not very professional at all.

Hey, yes this is my information from the timeline thread and sure please feel free to ask any questions.
Hey, thanks for getting back to me. I just wanted to understand why you submitted documents to Sheffield & did not upload them on the VFS Site? I could be wrong but didn't the process change by the time you submitted your application? Could that be the reason for the potential delay?
