URGENT!!! Family Visitor VISA Documents

Post by ryrypot » Sat Nov 30, 2019 2:38 pm

Hi,

Just a quick question,

My wife's mother will be applying for her visa to visit us in the UK from Russia. I can't get my head around if the documents need to be originals.

We have scanned in all the requested documents on the visa website, but now it seems like they need originals of them all?! Is this true. Do we need to figure out a way to send our passports to Russia in 2 days, it seems so unreasonable.

Any advice or experience will be much appreciated,

Thanks,

Ryan

Untrue. Haven't you asked yourself or whoever advised you that you are not the applicant so why would you need to send your original passport to Russia.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Scanned copies should suffice
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.
