Should I mention previous visa withdrawals in UK visa application?

Post by a85 » Sun Dec 01, 2019 9:01 pm

Hi Everyone,

I am about to extend my VISA Tier 2. In the past, one time, I have withdrawn my application (visa application for HK), and they just returned my application. So my question is while filling the Tier 2 VISA form, should I mention this as a visa refusal? Or just simply consider withdrawal as something which has never happened?

I really appreciate if you can help me?

A withdrawal isn't considered to be a refusal.

Should I mention it anywhere or just ignore it?

What is your concern exactly? It seems irrelevant.

My Concern is that, my visa application for HK (Hong Kong) took so long (more than usual), so at the end I decided to not go then, and I withdrawn my application. My concern is that it was a refusal in essence as it took so long. And I must mention it, even though I did not receive any Refusal Letter.

See Casa's previous reply, Sun Dec 01, 2019 9:17 pm. Plus there is no such thing as a "refusal in essence".
