Redundancy and travel

Hi,
I am currently sponsored on a tier 2 visa and my whole team was made redundant. My last day of employement will be on 31st December. According to my employer they will notify the HO of our redudancy 10 days prior to my last day of employement.
I have booked to travel abroad from 22nd December to 5th January. Will this constitute a risk? If I shorten my trip to 30th December will it be fine?
Also, when shall I expect a curtailement letter?
