Thank you for your answer!
No, she will only get a visa based on your new visa extension if she applies after you have received your new visa. So if your extension is for 3 years, she gets a 3 year visa expiring the same date as your new visa extension. She doesn't get a visa valid for the whole time you have been in the uk, ie initial and extension. So if I understand correctly, if my visa is extended, she can apply asap and get a visa for the whole duration of my visa (initial period + extended)?
Same as above. If she applies before you have the new visa, you use your old cos. If she applies after you have received your extension, you use the new cos. Also, in the dependant application, there is a field for filling in my CoS, should she fill in the new CoS, the old one, or perhaps either way attach the old one in addition?
Currently in the process, with priority
I think there is a confusion, of course I don't want her to have a visa which extends beyond mine. I just want her to get a visa asap, extended the end of my visa. Is that possible, or can she only get a visa starting from my new extension, which is March? No, she will only get a visa based on your new visa extension if she applies after you have received your new visa.
