Can PBS partner dependant be combined with Spousal visa for Set (M)?

Post by Godsown67 » Tue Dec 17, 2019 11:57 am

Hi All

Please I have a question.

I received entry clearance as PBS dependant partner in August 2013 and then switched to spousal visa in October 2017 after my husband got his ILR (LR) and he is now a British citizen. My partner and I have always lived together so I currently have more than 5 years immigration history as his partner dependant.
Would I qualify for ILR based on this or do I have to renew my current spousal visa for another 2 and half years before I'm eligible for ilr?

Thanks

No. Your ilr clock was reset to zero when you switched into spouse visa. You might be eligible for ILR after 5 years in 2022 or in 2023 when you will complete your 10 years under long residence route.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
