I do not know as well and would really appreaciate it if those that did it before could help and tell their experiences. I submitted a claim on Jan 17 2017 and the Home Office called me on the following Monday to say my family and I have to go for Biometrics they have sent us a letter. Collected the letter from our Solicitor and had the Biometrics on that 24th ( we had a deadline of 5 days)
We have not had any response since then. We dont know and the Lawyer was not sure why we had to have biometrics. Please help,, anyone !!!
Plz can u guide whether you received biometric letter or your solicitor? Do we need to go to post office or home office for biometrics?
I am waiting for my fresh claim as well

I don’t think they go into details its just for yes or no ,
Ni number form is required for everyone who attend interview, if they have then its good otherwise they can apply if your application successful,
Don’t worry about it,

I wrote to HO complaining about my delay and they responded by saying that they will invite me for an interview within the next 20 weeks and after that the decision will take another 14 weeks. Am I write in thinking this is the standard response like copy and paste?

Where from you received this letter, I personally think it’s depends on case work, as I mentioned my soliciter send letter and within 3 week i got fax for main interview, but i think most most of letters and templates they just change few things like name address etc

Hi all, i applied fresh claim at Liverpool March 2018 and still nothing no decision or anything from FSU. So waiting for 22 months now. I spoken with my solicitor and she told me that we can do pre action to make process a bit faster. Is that would be wise move? I mailed local MP but nothing from him as well he didn't returned.

My solicitor told me that if i refused from further submission, there is no option for claiming against that decision. I think she told me that there is one but if they refuse and give you and option to do that. And yeah, if they refuse, you can start from beginning this asylum process, she told me as well and this is the option they have to let you do that as well. I mean they can let doors leave open for you to do something or they will close it and you can do nothing except returning. This is what i understand.

My solicitor said judical review could be the next step after this but i dont know it is really make any difference or should i resubmit further submisson with new evidence. :(

Right, I did my further submission on 26 Sept 2017, started signing at the police station but can't rember the dates then I changed address end of 2018 and since then was never asked to go sign. I wrote complaints emails beginning of this yer and the the other one in August, both complaints were responded exactly after a week. My last complaint response I was told that they will have made a decision by 20 December 2019. On 12 Nov 2019 my lawyer received a letter to show 3 forms of evidence within 10 working days if not they would just decide with the evidence they have. The new evidence they needed was then sent to them on the 20 Nov. Still waiting.......

Hi Dede,
I agree with Sam,I think its just a matter of waiting now since you have submitted all that they have requested and it appears you have a strong chance, but I dont know the details of your case history.

All the best
