UK Citizenship Question

I hope someone can advise please.

My wife has been living with me in the UK for over 10 years and currently has a valid UK Biometric residence permit.

Her current Turkish passport and UK biometric card are issued in her maiden name.

She is now looking to go for UK citizenship / British passport but wants to apply using her married name.

Can someone please advise the process or if it is possible to obtain UK citizenship / passport in her married name.

Is it an ILR? If not then she will have to apply ILR first.

She already has ILR biometric card in her maiden name and now wants to apply for Citizenship / passport in her married name...

She would have to change her Turkish passport first.

Ho won't grant citizenship in a different name to what her foreign passport says.

Ok thanks for the advise..

Due to current circumstances It will be too difficult to visit turkey and change the passport name then back in the uk to change ILR deaths accordingly before then applying for citizenship in her married name..

Think it will be best to apply for citizenship now with maiden name then make the changes sometime in the future..
