Proof of living arrangements

Post by jamesa380 » Wed Dec 25, 2019 12:07 pm

Good afternoon and Merry Christmas!

Looking for a little clarification regarding proof of suitable accommodation for a spouse visa extension application coming up in mid January.

Since successfully applying for the first 2.5 years I have since brought a house myself and we have lived in this for 2 years. The house is just in my name as it was very difficult to find a lender that would include my wife without indefinite leave to remain.

I have mortgage statements for the last 2 years showing payments and I already have the deeds for the house in my name.

Would I need a letter stating the size and how many bedrooms in the house? It's a one bedroom detached house and only two of us living here.

I prepared these documents for the first application but they didn't take them at the document scanning. The only took signed letter from the home owner stating the size of the house

Hope you can help.
Kind regards,
James

No letter needed.

Just the docs evidencing ownership of the property.
