Forgot to inform police for my change of address for 3 weeks

I should have informed Met Police regarding my change of address in 7 days. However, I did not have any time at all in the first two weeks due to moving and new job’s hectic schedule. Then I forgot to do it the following week due to holiday period. I will do it tomorrow.
Has anyone had the same problem? Would I be fined for £5000? Or would they jail me ? I read the previous posts mentioning police officers threatening people saying they could be jailed or their next visa applications being declined for this. This is very worrying.

3 weeks is nothing. Some people report after 10 months!

They usually give a warning for the first time.

They may stamp it as registration delayed at most! So not to worry.
