information on FLR (FP) spousal visa 10 year route

Hi There,

I am applying for the second time under the spousal visa 10 year route. This is a renewal, I've found that the form I need to use is the FLR (FP) can anyone confirm this? I am also a bit confused as to if I have to retake the English spoken test? I did the test 2.5 years ago when I was renewing. Does anyone have any information as to why we have to redo it or if we have to? Also, it seems the Immigrant health surcharge has been increased to £400 per year. Do I have to pay the full amount of £800? I don't understand why I have to pay this despite paying tax as well?

FLR fpnis correct yes.

For a 2.5 year extension, the IHS is £1000. All visa applicants have to pay regardless of whether you work and pay tax.

Thank you for your reply. I figured as much. Do you have to pay for the English test again though?
