I got the 21 days email on 24 so after a week I got approval. Thanks everyone for being helpful on this forum.
You got the 21 day email on the 24th of what month?
I received that email of 21 days on 24th of December and after a week I got the approval letter.
That was so quick bro, I emailed ukvi and got a reply from them on the 17th of December stating dat I will be contacted in 21 working days, but here I am still waiting...a colleague here, Sousa also got the same 21 days email on the 5th of December, till date he's still expecting..if I may ask you, did you email them to know or they emailed you on their own to expect a later in 21 working days?
I sent them an email on 23rd of December and got a reply on 24th. I hope it helps.

I have applied on 16/04/2019. on 12/12 /2019 I asked for an update and received a standard reply which was 21 working days letter. today I asked them whether a decision has been made or not .recieved below response
.Dear Sir

A decision was made on your case on 24th December 2019. A copy of this decision has gone out to you via post. Please take into account the limited postal service that has been in place over the Christmas period. However, I would expect your decision to reach you shortly if it has not done so already.

Yours sincerely

Congrats in advance. You win the match and be patience for the tournament ceremony.

I applied on 21st May 2019.
I sent an e-mail on 21st October and the standard reply was " not possible in 6 months target time".

I sent another update request on 29th December 2019 and the home office has still not replied.

Hello Everyone,

This is Adam, My Journey with Home Office seems like never ending. I have applied BC on July 2018, it's been nearly 1 & half years after submit my naturalisation application, I Wasn't worried too much until application passed 6 months but when it's crossed an year just wondering why it's taking so long.

I have emailed them first, they have sent me a generic email with saying some applications around 5% would take over 6 months and there is no time limit for this application. Then i thought it could be an good idea to contact my Local MP, Got respond from HO again with long post as they are checking my Good characteristic, and they are completing this task with the help of few agencies, they are still waiting for an update from them.

Here is my below Timeline

Student Visa 2005
Refused to extent as student Visa 2009(financial Ground) , An appeal had made and won , visa extended Until 2011.
Went to Back Home 2011, before 1 month of my Visa expiry
Got Married 2012, applied Spouse Visa 2013, Got ILR 2018 July.
Apply BC 2018 July and still waiting.

I hope this waiting game will end sooner than later, Is there anyone here had having hard time like me?
Or someone already went through all of these pain...

I appreciate your time to read my post. Please share your thought and advise.

dear moderator,

I am on ILR for few years and going to do the naturalisation application soon. I did a pearson academic test while applying for ILR. As i am going through the requirement for the naturalisation application, I came across this statement from the relevant gov.uk site, 'You can use a B1 level qualification that’s run out if you’re applying for citizenship and it was accepted when you settled in the UK. It does not matter if the B1 level test you took is not on the current list of recognised tests. You do not need to take another test'.

I guess that means I do not have to take another test. Just like to confirm it you guys. hearing so many random stories about the requirement for language test than I can really use you assurance. thanks guys. Mohammad

When did you gain ILR status? On or after 28 Oct 2013?
Per guidance:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... n-guidance
"If you met the requirement to have sufficient knowledge of language and life in the
UK when you applied for settlement by having a B1 level test you do not have to
demonstrate it again. (People who applied for settlement on or after 28 October
2013 needed to have had a B1 level qualification.) "

If you did ilr in 2011 then you need a new test. Your previous posts suggest 2013. Can you confirm exactly what date you applied for and were granted ilr?

Thanks CR001, Sorry for the misinformation error. I applied for ILR on 13th Aug, 2013 and it was issued(granted) on 9th Dec, 2013. I did a Pearson Academic test and scored 76% which equals to 7 of IELTS. thanks again. Haider
