1 month statement missing

Post by Aslan » Tue Jul 29, 2008 9:12 pm

Hi,
I collected previous 12 months statements for my Tier 1 app but just found that a single month statement is missing in between. I cannot wait till I receive the duplicate statement. Can I send the application in the same status as I have now. Will it be considered?

Will it be considered?
No it will be rejected.

Why don't you go to your bank, and they will issue you duplicate statements immediately, on the spot?

No don't even think about it. It will be a rejection straight away. Go to your bank and sort it out on the spot.

Refer Page 15 of tier1genpolicyguide.pdf

An applicant does not have to be in continuous or full-time employment during the 12 months being assessed.

An applicant may claim for a period of earnings
of less than 12 months if they have earned suffi cient
funds to claim the necessary points.

you can have the salary slip missing for one month. they will not give you points for that month even if it is there on bank statement.

i had a similar issue and called UK BA., they said it does not matter. An applicant does not have to be in continuous or full-time employment during the 12 months being assessed. if you can have sufficient points without that 1 month it shud be ok.

This is my view and suggestion. If you are in doubt you can call UK BA or VFS
