My chances of getting a visitors visa with a sponsor ?!!

Post by Talkingheadsaa » Mon Jan 06, 2020 5:36 pm

Hi dear all,

I was wondering what are my chances of getting visitors visa to visit my friend in the UK. I have met them when i was living in the Denmark and so weve known each other for about a year now. They offered to sponsor my trip to visit them in the uk, they are pretty wealthy so i dont think they would be any problems considering their ability to sponsor me or accommodate me etc ...But im mostly worried about my situation, im from non EU country,(moroko) and was living and working in denmark for the past 3 years, i just returned back home last month to take care of my mom who got sick and she was alone here. so that means i still dont have a job here in my home country im just using my savings i had while working denmark. I have good travel history and have never overstayed a visa. (and im 27yo single/unmarried girl if that matters ..)

So my question is , do i have a chance of getting a visitors visa if my friend sponsors me ?

Thank you in advance

Hello

Each case is evaluated under its own merits.

However, I observed a high rate of refusal for people without work / business activity. As you have a good immigration history, your chances are normally high if you can demonstrate a professional activity.

Indeed, no one can tell you for sure that you will get or won't get a visa. The only way to know is to try. But personally, I don't recommend applying at the moment.
