Spouse Visa Extension

Post by muddykhan2392 » Thu Jan 23, 2020 2:42 pm

Hi

My wife's visa is due for a extension in May 2020, we live in a joint family with my brothers there wife's and kids.

Both brother are the owners, I will be providing a Mortgage letter along with a letter from them allowing us the permission to stay with them.

I wanted to find out, do I need a housing report(Inspection Report) to show that show that there is enough space etc, as we have also had a child .

Any help would be much apricated

Thanks

You will have to show that there is adequate accommodation for you, your wife and any dependents for your exclusive use and also that the house will not be overcrowded. You could get a property inspection report in support of your application but these tend to be used more for cases where the accommodation is with non-related adults and other types of evidence may also be suitable, it's up to you to show how you meet the requirements.
