ILR - Entered airport with BRP but biometrics not checked

Hi All

Yesterday when arriving in Gatwick (back from a short trip to France),we presented our BRP with ILR but the IO did not check for biometrics (finger print) or ask any questions. Is this normal ? We were really tired so did not ask about it

Usually we were asked for the index finger scan with the BRP

In my passport there is a normal stamp (no conditions) but the number of the BRP is not written above it (usually they write it above)

Is it something to worry about ? We are from a non visa national country which does not need a visa to enter the UK as tourists. I have read about people being accidentally or mistakently admitted as visitors even when they do have ILR.

Nothing to worry. BRP checks are done majority of times but not 100% of the times.
