ESOL English and Functional Skills maths

Post by londonphd » Sat Feb 08, 2020 3:56 pm

Hi,

My wife recently attended an open evening at a local college in London. She wanted to do ESOL English and Functional Skills maths courses. She is currently on FLR (M). After inspecting my wife's BRP card, the advisor at the college told us that my wife could enrol on and do both the courses free of charge.
As you know FLR (M) BRP cards clearly state no recourse to public funds. Considering this, are we still ok to enrol on one of the courses?
