This is ok because you are not using your degree to satisfy the English requirement - the fact you have a degree as such is not relevant for anything else. You have B1.The online application form has a question: ‘Do you have a degree that was taught in English’ as NO

Hi can you pls advise on this:
“ Do you have a previous visa, entry clearance or leave to remain where you had to prove your knowledge of English?”
Ive used online pbs calculator for english requirements so should I mark ‘yes’ as an answer (in jan2013 and han2010)
