I saw the changes coming into place for the "Exceptional Talent" Tier 2 work permit to be administered by the UK Royal Society. I also saw the MAC recommendation of abolishing the RLMT. Does anyone happen to know if the RMLT will be aboloshed with the Feb 20, 2020 UKVI updates or when it will be? Thank you in advance.

Exceptional talent is a tier 1 visa not a tier 2 visa.

If rlmt was going be abolished in February with whatever update you believe is due, it would have been published 40 days in advance of the update usually.

Apologies for the confusion on the "Exceptional Talent" misclassification.

I am guessing then that there is no change coming Feb 20, 2020, regarding the RLMT as I have not seen anything except the MAC 2019 White Paper, stating the RLMT abolishment as a recommendation. I'm guessing there will be no announcement of any date by which it would be abolished.
