Hi All
I got ILR last week. Can someone please guide me of how this PBS dependent application works as i am totally confused. Any help & guidance is appreciated
My Tier2G leave was till 02-03-2020. My wife got PBS Dependent from 18-09-2015 TO 02-03-2020.
I am applying PBS dependent for wife now. I have few doubts.
1. In IHS website it asks me to enter end date of T2G leave which is 02-03-2020 - it says i need to pay £200 only. Is this correct.
2. If I enter date as end of my ILR BRP it says i need to pay £2000? What date should i enter?
3. In the UKVI application it asks me as below.
Which visa or permission to stay has Mr XXXXX applied for or been granted?
Tier 2 (General) leave to remain
Do you have one of these Home Office reference numbers for Mr XXXX?
Yes, I have their biometric residence permit (BRP) number
BRP number
RXXXXXX - Which BRP should i enter - ILR or T2G??
Does Mr XXXXXX have indefinite leave to remain or British citizenship?
Yes
Does Mr XXXXXXX have indefinite leave to remain or British citizenship?
Yes
What is the length of Mr XXXXXXXX Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)?
3 years or less - My COS will finish 02-03-2020 Is this correct??

1. No. You list out ilr brp.
2. Put expiry date as day month 2023 to get 3 years ihs.
3. Ilr. You need to out your last tier 2 sponsor cos details.

1. No. You list out ilr brp.
It does not show ILR BRP in the list. Only option relevant to me is Tier2 PBS dependent
2. Put expiry date as day month 2023 to get 3 years ihs.
You mean any date in 2023? is that valid?
3. Ilr. You need to out your last tier 2 sponsor cos details.
Shall i mention the lenght of COS which was issued to me in 2015?
Thanks you again for your reply.

1. If ilr is lot an option then tier 2. Note we do not all have access to the online forms.
2. Yes, it is only relevant for the IHS. So out the application date and month and year as 2023 to get £1200 IHS.
3. Your last Cos you had.

Ok thanks i will keep Tier2. It should have the option of ILR in PBS dependent but does not

Her ILR will be due in Sep 2020. Can i only fill the year till 2021 as i will apply for ILR in Sep 2020?
3. Your last Cos you had.
OK thanks I will keep 5 yrs in this case.

2. A PBS dependent visa is granted for 3 years, as stated in the immigration rules. There is no discretion by HO to grant a lesser time visa validity.
You cannot choose a lesser time for the visa. IHS is payable for a 3 year extension

Ok thanks so I will pay for 3 year on IHS. Get the reference and attach is application.
In the application it is asking me to update end date of COS, what should be this in the UKVI main application?

I called HO today. They said to give only 1 yr in IHS website and mention in cover letter.
The visa will be issued based on date till IHS is paid.
Within 1 yr she can then apply for ILR.

You have been incorrectly advised by the call centre, which is an outsourced third party agency.
The immigration rules dictate what is granted, which states very clearly it is a 3 year visa. If you pay 1 year IHS, ho will write to you to pay the rest and it will cause a delay.

Hi Experts
I submitted my wife’s PBS dependent extension application on 25th feb. We attended UKVCAS Appointment last Saturday 14-03-2020.
We have not received any notification from Home Office. 5 days are over.
Does it mean refusal? Just having bad thoughts?
Can anyone please share ur experience, please

There is a bit of a world wide crisis going on at the moment, so likely some delays will occur.
Wait to hear back from HO.
