Hello.
I have travelled to the UK 5 times over the last 7 years to visit my British sister (on three 6-month visas) with all stays ranging between 5 - 14 days. I would now like to apply for a longer term visa in order to avoid the hassle of doing the application every time I'd like to visit. I'm seeking advice on whether I should apply for the 10 year visa straight away or it would be more sensible for me to attempt to get a 2 year first before moving on to a 10 year. I'd hate to lose the application fee for a 10 year visa for not doing my due diligence.
For background purposes, I am a 35 year old Nepalese male (single, no dependants, above average financial records). In the same period I have travelled to over 50 countries including multiple visits to US, CAN, EU and ANZ, and have long term visit visas for the US and Canada.
Any opinions or comments would be very helpful. TIA!
