Tier 2 (Dependent) to ILR

Post by annietran164 » Mon Mar 02, 2020 3:47 pm

Hi,

I've been in the UK for the past 4 years on different visas (first 1.5 years on student visa and then 2.5 years on spouse visa). My husband is due to apply for his ILR end of this year.

1) Should I apply for extension before or after his application?
2) When will I be eligible to apply for ILR myself?

Thank you very much for your help.

Depends when you current visa expires! You don't state this information in your post.
2) When will I be eligible to apply for ILR myself?
Once you have held a tier 2 dependent visa for 5 years.
